Emergency services rushed to the site of a terrifying crash in rural Victoria after a car lost control and plunged off a cliff with five people inside.
Police were called to Great Apline Rd at Harrietville in northeast Victoria shortly after 6pm on Sunday.
A multi-agency rescue operation was quickly deployed to rescue all five occupants, which included three adults, aged between 34 and 59, and two children.
A 59-year-old woman was airlifted to Alfred Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while a 34-year-old woman was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The third adult passenger, a 35-year-old man, and two children were taken to hospital for observation.
